About Grayson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Gritty, I play to my fullest on every snap. You are welcome to watch every play whether or not I get the ball- I give it my all. I play fast and I run my routes with precision, I have amazing body control, and hands-when I get the ball I try to get every yard I can. When I block down field I lock down defenders and help my team-mates achieve their very best.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am tenacious, I set goals, I work hard to achieve my goals. I’ve earned everything I've ever been given. I don’t have rich parents or a relatives as a coach, or any special contacts. I am a hard worker. I make my own noise. The camps and showcases I’ve attended I paid for from my own money. I work hard on and off the field. I put the time in watching film, running routes, and weight lifting.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in my church and in my community. I participate in my church's youth programs where we reach out to people in need in my town, county, state and the world. I haven’t received any non-sport awards because I don’t spend the time to promote myself, I would rather put in the service and the hours without the distraction of acclaim.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through hard work and experience- I speak with wisdom and experience and people listen. I know what it means to build a program, it begins with solid student athlete leaders- that we control and set the tone. I have developed into a leader that at times can lead from the front and at times lead by being a support to my teammates - I help build solid men that excel on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I would say no-not compared to others. I come from humble circumstances and I have a large family. For me to achieve my goals, I have multiple jobs. I work mucking cattle/ horse stalls- I shovel snow in the winter and mow lawns in the summer. I am a manager at FiZZ a SODA Shop. I can't attend big expensive camps or showcases or have someone paid to give me stars.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a school where there are high expectations for me and my team-mates. That they require high academic and behavior standards. A school that works hard to ensure that their student athletes can have success long after their time in the classroom.
