Grayson has an offer to FCS St.Francis, but he should have more opportunities. He’s truly capable of being a DE or Hback on the FCS level. He fires off the ball well and plays with a low pad level. Dee’s low center of gravity gives him power when colliding with lead blockers & pulling O-linemen. He’s athletic and strong enough to man block DL or block LB’s at H-back. Grayson has good agility running routes and catching the football. His strength & quickness allows him to be effective playing all of the DL positions.

Dee ranks as a top 150 prospect in his class, earning him a Group of Five grade that has yet to be met. Still, Dee has seen his stock rise this offseason, earning two FCS offers out of Davidson and St. Francis University. We ranked Dee as a defensive lineman, a spot where he is certainly capable of producing, yet his value at tight end will serve this team well this Fall. Dee’s tape as an in-line blocker shows just how crucial his impact was to get this running game going. Dee is well-seasoned in the trenches. I have no doubt in my mind that Dee will provide quality reps that will inevitably lead to helping this team move the ball forward, regardless of who is carrying the rock. These are the type of pieces every championship-aspiring program needs to have in place.
