Wyoming East may be rebuilding in recent seasons, but they’ll have a good piece to build around in 2028 EDGE/DL Grayson Ashley Grayson Ashley 6'2" | 210 lbs | EDGE Wyoming East | 2028 State WV . He was a standout freshman for the Warriors last season and a team leader as a young player. Ashley totaled 99 tackles and 6 sacks in his first year of high school, and is built well for his age, which translated to early success. He caught our eye at the Concord Prospect Camp earlier this summer without having seen any game film before then, but was certainly on our radar after a productive freshman season. Ashley has since produced film, which led him to earn the #4 EDGE ranking in the 2028 class, with a bright future coming for the rising sophomore. He has the potential to grow into an every-down defensive end with his hand in the dirt with the frame he possesses. If Ashley can improve overall athleticism, he’ll have the opportunity to stick as a stand-up edge rusher as well.
