, a linebacker at Greenwood High School. What I like about Price is his ability to read the offense like a book and catch them by surprise with his ability to quickly apply pressure on and sack the quarterback. Price also impresses me with his strong footwork and defensive awareness off the snap, showcasing his ability to quickly adapt as well as ground playmakers in the backfield to push the opposition further back.Access all of Prep Redzone

is another linebacker that has been high on my radar for a while and has continued to stand out this season. Price lines up at inside linebacker where he is very reliable against the run. He does a great job of reading his keys and coming downhill in a hurry to get to the ball carrier. Price has shown the ability to fight through blocks on his way to the ball carrier and is a very reliable tackler once he gets there. Gray finished the regular season with 106 tackles and eight tackles for loss. He also played a role on offense as a running back but was at his best on defense. Price doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves some attention from college coaches as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Primarily aligning as an inside linebacker in the Gators’ 4-3 defensive system, Price exhibits the downhill lean, pad level and explosiveness on contact to successfully stuff opponents’ inside run game while also possessing sufficient speed and intelligent pursuit angles to provide inside-out pursuit on perimeter plays. In his team’s surprisingly dominant 38-6 victory over rival Warren East, he collected 3 solo tackles and 10 assists in a stellar defensive effort that held the Raiders’ highly-regarded offensive attack to only 29 plays and 72 yards of total offense. After finishing last season as the Gators’ fourth-leading tackler and the #2 tackler returning, Price appears more than capable of elevating his production his senior season. A major factor in Greenwood’s 2-0 start and strong initial team defensive performances, he has contributed 6 solo tackles, 12 assists and 1 tackle for loss thus far.
