ND MVP

One of a couple North Dakotans in attendance at the Minnesota-Morris Prospect Camp that caught my eyes in the defensive back group was Hatton-Northwood transfer Grant Odermann Grant Odermann 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Hatton-Northwood | 2028 State ND who was the best North Dakotan in attendance in Morris. Grant showed to me that he was quite coachable for his age and he intrigued me with his skillsets with his ball-tracking ability on a handful of reps I watched on various routes that were thrown his way. Grant showed the instinctive vision I wanted to see to and showed why at camp that he could be a defensive back at the next-level.

Grant is running back that is multi-level threat for the Polar Bears also as a kickoff returner that can take it the distance with his lengthy strides. He’s a downhill runner that still has the patience to wait for blocks to open up and threads really well when he gets into the open field. I might have said it before, but he’s one of the better athletes I have seen out of Larimore in recent years and that should say something, as this young man is only a junior to be that can make even more noise in the backfield over the coming years.

One of my favorite new finds tonight comes out of Larimore and their 2028 running back Grant Odermann Grant Odermann 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Hatton-Northwood | 2028 State ND . Grant shows off great vision and patience as a one-cut RB that makes his splash from a burst perspective after he makes his cut and is one that is a strong finisher from a seperation perspective. He shows off good upside over the coming years generating more power thru high-traffic areas which there certainly is frame for Grant to add in that regard for the Polars Bears running back and one of the most intriguing athletes I have seen out of there as of late!
