Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Short, stout prospect. Not much juice as a runner, but pinballs off tackles and tough to bring down. Compact lefty release. Operates well off-platform and on the run. Hits receivers in stride, good ball placement. Does a great job mixing up trajectories. Not super traitsy, but surgical. Holds Miami OH offer.
I’ve seen him work in person several times now. I have been impressed with his touch, timing, ball placement, and his operational skills. He strikes me as a guy who will end up balling at an FCS level for a few years.

Have seen this guy in person twice and haven’t seen him force a bad throw yet. Excellent feel for the game with beautiful touch and placement.

Does a great job mixing up trajectories. Makes space for himself to operate in the pocket. Might not stick out from a traits standpoint, but he is good enough and is surgical. Holds Miami OH offer. Opposing coaches have left positive reviews.

was extremely efficient and smooth in a career-best outing against Creekview, leading Woodstock to an upset victory. Burmeister completed 14 of his 19 passes for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. There is a lot to like on tape. He is calm in the pocket and has enough athleticism to scamper away from chaos. Doesn’t have the strongest arm, but he has a quick release and throws a tight spiral. He can manipulate touch, allowing him to layer throws into the intermediate areas of the field and over safeties, which is what he was able to do against Creekview. Burmeister is a gamer and looks to be a clean operator from the neck up. He is a breakout QB in the 2027 class and is leading Woodstock to their best season in years.”
