Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A max-effort defender from Cherokee County with a great first step off the snap, Ba is a quick-reacting lineman who shows active hands and the ability to make plays in the backfield. He brings a promising 6-foot-3 230-pound frame and is coming off a strong junior season where he made 44 tackles, 13 TFLs, and 8.5 sacks. He was one of the top defenders in the region and showed easy Power Four potential. If he continues to develop Ba has a chance to have an outstanding senior season in 2026. He’s now ranked as the No. 13 DL prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class with his best football still way ahead of you.

A quick twitchy lineman who can beat opposing linemen with both speed and power, Ba brings good size to the table with impressive burst off the snap. He plays hard and has been a consistent presence along the Woodstock defense so far this season. He’s been one of the better pass-rushers in the region through his first six games as he’s made 27 tackles, nine TFLs and seven sacks. He does a great job of creating pressure from the inside and has no problem driving his opponent backwards and into the pocket. He’s a Cherokee County defensive lineman on the rise having a really strong junior season.
