At 5’8″ Dureny finds himself playing both off the edge and as his team’s primary running back. Dureny is an explosive tackler and able to carry defenders on offense – all due to his strong lower half. A smooth, one-cut type of back, he looks fluid and natural with the ball in his hands out of the backfield. Because of how he fights against leverage I suspect that Dureny might have a wrestling background. Additionally, he gets his hands on the man in front of him on defense well. An unrelenting player, he plays with a motor and desire to keep coming at you until the whistle has blown – as evidenced when he serves as a lead blocker and lights people up. Because Dureny seems to understand the subtitles of the game, is capable of playing at the next level, although I am not exactly sure at what position.
