Despite missing a handful of games due to injury last season, Gibson showed more than enough to warrant a spot in our rankings. He proved that he could be one of the most intriguing dual-threat quarterbacks in this class. As a passer, he shows a live arm capable of driving the football to every level of the field with ease. He throws with good timing, delivers a catchable football, and understands where he needs to put the football for his receiver. His athleticism adds another dimension to the Ithaca offense, getting north and south with great speed and isn’t afraid to fight for the extra yards. As he continues to gain experience and build on the flashes he showed last season, I believe his game has the potential to translate very well to the next level.
