You can make the case for recently re-ranked linebacker George Truitt George Truitt 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Northeast | 2024 State PA to be the most valuable prospect on the roster. A riser, one that I’m sending to college coaches left and right after I recently saw his new junior tape. 6’2, a lean 210-pounds, Truitt’s tape conveys a prototypical and ideal collegiate MLB prospect who can disrupt gap integrity, as well as be a force in stopping the run. Truitt is just as physically gifted as many backs he’ll match up against in the pub, so running and reacting to the run is going to work in his favor. Love how he was utilized as a blitzer, either off the edge or through the A-B gaps. At this level, I don’t think there’s much you can throw on the young man’s plate that he couldn’t handle. There aren’t a large sum of coverage reps to speak of on tape, that doesn’t mean he’s not suitable to drop back into zones and play the pass, would love to see it on future tape though. Truitt recently picked up an offer out of Merrimack.
