An impressive two-way athlete with strong instincts in coverage, Murray is a small-town defensive back from Bethlehem, Georgia who also made plays on offense at wide receiver. At cornerback, Murray plays physical and has enough speed and athleticism to cover receivers down the field. He plays the ball well in the air and was tough to create separation on consistently last fall. Defensively, Murray made 29 tackles and picked off four passes while breaking up 12 more. His best football is still ahead of him and now the 5-foot-11 165-pounder could be even better this fall. He earned a recent offer from Austin Peay and should see more come his way over time.
A sleeper 2027 pass-catcher to know with outstanding ball skills and versatility, Murray is a two-way standout who plays the ball as well as anyone in the region. He shows terrific instincts in coverage and the ability to make big plays vertically as a receiver. He shows natural big play ability and the ability to leap and make a tough grab over a defender. The speedy, sure-handed 5-foot-11 165-pounder made 30 tackles and three INTs with 10 more pass-breakups while scoring four touchdowns on offense. He’s an easy D1-caliber player with the potential to have a gigantic senior season this fall.

is a guy who made the most of his opportunities and led this team as a junior. He is a ball-hawking defensive back from the state of Georgia, who finished the season with a total of three interceptions. He has ball-tracking skills like a center fielder or a free safety. He has quickly become a guy who can be reliable with cutting guys off on deep routes, as he even had a play this season where he took an angle to cut off a go route without making much contact. He is someone who plays for the ball, and that was good enough to be recognized on this list.
George has proven to be one of the most reliable defensive backs in his region, First Team Defense, and All-Region honors for his stellar performance this past season. With 35 total tackles—19 solo and 16 assisted—he was a key contributor to his team’s success, showing exceptional instincts and physicality in the secondary.
A true playmaker, George recorded 4 pass breakups and 1 interception on the year, showcasing his ability to disrupt the passing game and make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks. His combination of speed, awareness, and technique allows him to excel in both man-to-man and zone coverage, while his high football IQ ensures he’s always in the right position to make plays.
Coaches and teammates alike praise George for his work ethic and dedication to his craft, which was evident throughout the season as he consistently stepped up in big moments. With accolades already piling up and a bright future ahead, George is a defensive back that college programs should keep on their radar.
