Gavin shows the necessary fluidity and athletic ability to play tackle at the next level. He shows good hand placement and bend as he drives defensive players out of the play. Player shows good lateral quickness and does a great job protecting the QB. Player has a nice combination of athletic ability and technique. He pulls well and changes direction well to pick up defender. Once he latches on to defender, he is an effective blocker who creates space for ball carrier. In pass pro, he kick steps well, is patient, and does not lunge. He has the agility and quickness to handle an edge rusher and keep qb safe. He has been well coached and has faced premier competition.
