Expert Analysis
Elijah Bonner | Prep Redzone Scout
Hendrickson defined versatility. On the turf, he rushed 116 times for 586 yards (5.1 avg), scored five touchdowns, and recorded a 54-yard dash against Loveland. Through the air, he went 24-of-46 for 357 passing yards and three touchdowns, proving he could run the huddle and run over linebackers. But baseball might be where his numbers shine the brightest—over 54 games, he hit .371 with 53 hits, 14 doubles, four triples, a homer, and an elite .486 OBP. Toss in 11 stolen bases and a slick .979 fielding percentage, and you’ve got a complete athlete who wins no matter the sport.

The 5’9 CB-ATH made his impact on both sides of the ball. He went 1/1 for 38 yards passing, 3 carries for 8 yards, 4 total tackles (1 solo, 3 assisted), 1 FF, 48 return yardage. Hendrickson has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. He killed it as a defensive back. On a 3rd down, he jumped and extend his arms to swat the ball away, leading to the incompletion. In the 4th quarter, he did his own impression of Peanut Tillman, with punching the ball out of the receiver’s hands, while Triston Hill got the recovery. He made a Amari Cooper-Josh Allen-esque play on offensive. As the running back, he started to stumble. He pitched it back to his QB,

for the first down. Hendrickson is a scrappy player, who I believe would thrive in a slot corner role at the next level.

Hendrickson is a DB who combines speed with sharp instincts, making him a formidable presence in the secondary. He might not be the tallest DB but with his speed, he is able to keep up with any receiver no matter their size. He excels at keeping receivers in front of him and has a keen ability to track the ball, being able to come down with INTs. His ability to read through the receiver to the QB allows him to make clean breaks on the ball. He will be a player to know moving forward.
