Gage is another small-schooler that will see a boost by our next 2027 rankings update in South Dakota as the now 6’1 220 pound linebacker out of Parkston has been on a tear for the Trojans defense. Not only has Gage gotten more rangy with his footwork and movement, but the get off he’s showing off blocks has been pinpoint accurate from an alignment perspetive nearing into the ball carrier for a quick tackle. I’ve said it before, on tape you want answer the question “do I look physical” well, Gage has taken that to heart as his tackling ability shows the finish and the pop of physicality that a college coach is going to want to see.
