Gage has all of the physical attributes to be a stud at the next level. Offensively he lines up as a bruiser of a tight end, delivering punishing blocks, but defensively is where I am most impressed. Gage has long arms, and a quick get off to cause absolute havoc in the backfield. He has a plethora of moves, but I was really impressed with the balance and lateral movement, and the vision to get a quick read on the play. When he gets to the ball, it’s over for the play, as a ton of the hits are crushing blows and there’s no escaping. Gage is seeing offers from D2 schools, but I still have him underrated as I think he could end up at the MAC level or higher. If a D2 school picks Chatfield up, it’s a huge steal.
