There might not have been a more mechanically-sound prospect to compete than Gabriel Vetter. Vetter transferred his weight extremely well. This led to strong, accurate throws. I understand that there was nobody pressuring Vetter and that he was not forced to move; that withstanding, he showed great poise, fundamentals, and confidence when throwing the ball with a clean drop.

Lastly we will head down to Florida. The Calvary Christian QB, was impressive. Vetter was one of the most impressive mechanical QB’s in attendance throughout the day. Florida is an impressive state prospect wise, but with his arm talent, mechanics, and ability to hit tight windows, and deep downfield slots, can easily make him a challenger for the #1 spot in the Sunshine State.

Vetter had good height for a QB, and showcased a slim frame. I liked his mechanics and the zip he put on the ball, allowing him to get a quick release. Vetter was a strong QB in the Dome this past weekend.

I believe our only Florida prospect to make the trip was Calvary Christian future stud Gabriel Vetter. This was a kid who had Coach Coleman impressed nearly to the point his name was in the MVP discussion for the qb room. Vetter is long and lean throwing a pretty deep ball. He is amongst a list of breakout stars in the sunshine state and he proved that the hype was real. Vetter is now 6’2 do not be surprised if he starts getting offers before his freshman season ends.

Vetter is an intriguing young QB, who will be in attendance this weekend. The Florida prospect, will take his talents to Calvary Christian in Clearwater this fall, and I am interested to see how he competes against a talented QB group.
