Gabe Frisinger is a legitimate dual-threat quarterback for Carroll. Frisinger has a quick release and throws a good, accurate deep ball with good timing and touch. Good velocity thrower between the hashes. He is a very mobile quarterback who can throw on the run, and if he gets out into space, he can make plays with his legs. Led all returning players in total yards from scrimmage with 3,349 passing yards and 532 rushing yards with 32 total touchdowns. Will he eclipse the 4,000 yard mark this season? Displaing a quick release and strong arm, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound gunslinger can throw with zip and velocity between the hashes. He threw for 437 yards and rushed for 102 more, with three total touchdowns. Westfield will need to find ways to contain and pressure him at all costs.

Frisinger had one of his most complete games of the year on Friday in a high-scoring shootout where they came out on top. Northrop kept coming, and it put the pressure on Frisinger. He delivered all night long. He completed 71% of his throws (28 attempts) for 313 yards and 3 TDs. He then added 72 yards on the ground and ended the night with just under 400 total yards in the 48-37 win.
