Johnson was a key contributor in a big victory over Tomball, putting his complete skill set as a running back on display.

He read his blocks well, patiently allowing running lanes to develop before making decisive cuts. Once Johnson chose his path, he accelerated through the opening and finished runs with physicality and determination.

Johnson rushed for 190 yards on 22 carries and accounted for 5 total touchdowns. 4 of those scores came in the first half, including 3 on the ground and 1 through the air. It was a dominant performance from Johnson and an impressive night for the Hurricanes’ offense.

Eyan had a huge game, carrying the ball 22 times for 190 rushing yards and four touchdowns while adding a seven yard receiving touchdown. He found ways to create big plays on the ground and consistently gave the offense positive production with the ball in his hands. Eyan finished with five total touchdowns, showing his ability to impact the game both as a runner and in the passing game.

Eyan is a scat back who has a knack for finding the crease and turning it into a home run play. Despite his smaller frame, he runs with surprising strength, bouncing off contact and refusing to go down on first contact. He’s explosive in space and can change the pace of a drive in one touch. After rushing for over 700 yards and 7 touchdowns, he also brings added value on special teams as a kick returner. Expect Eyan to build on that production and have a strong season.

Eyan had an impressive showing at the PRZ Houston Showcase, using his combination of speed, vision, and agility to stand out throughout the day. In individual drills, he displayed smooth footwork, sharp cuts, and the ability to accelerate quickly through openings, making the most of every rep. During one-on-one matchups, Eyan competed with confidence and instinct, consistently finding ways to gain separation and create yardage. Beyond his athleticism, he showed awareness and body control that allowed him to make plays in tight spaces, highlighting a back who can be both explosive and reliable. By the end of the camp, Eyan’s performance left a clear impression as a dynamic playmaker.
