He also has the tools to contribute against the run, giving him opportunities to affect plays even when the ball isn’t coming his way. The biggest step for Carroll will be becoming more consistent with his technique and turning his opportunities into impact plays. With more confidence and experience, he has a chance to become a standout name in the secondary and build real momentum as the season moves along.

Carroll put together an impressive day at Trinity and was one of the receivers who consistently caught attention during drills. He moved well throughout route work, showing smooth athleticism and the ability to change direction without losing much speed. His hands looked reliable, and he attacked the football with confidence whenever it came his way. He good good during skelly playing his zone coverage.
