About Everick

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

No fly zone over the top safety but love to fire downhill full speed and close alleys. I really enjoy the one-on-one competition with the quarterback, his pre-reads, his cadence, and anticipating film study play recognition, and relay findings to my team pre-snap.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When it comes to being a safety which is the position I play now, my mentality is read, close, and finish. First READ the cadence, tendencies of the quarterback and receivers pre-snap. Second CLOSE over the top of my receivers if it's a pass and CLOSE in on the runner full speed no angles if it's run, and FINISH with violence whether it's int, pbu or tackle.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with Fast camp Athletics. I received an award in 2024 for All American academics I went to Granite Hills last year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills from playing football since I was 5. Team camaraderie is a big deal to me and I am really big on creating such a strong team that others would have a hard time recognizing who leads it. I try to give knowledge as much as I can to teammates and peers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was born with a cleft lip and palate so yes I was faced with many challenges, people constantly staring, whispering amongst themselves, judging you and a big acceptance issue growing up. So learning to deal through adversities, compressor I'm used to.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to continue my athletic endeavor in a college who can use, build, and recognize my talents. It would be convenient play in California but I'm willing to travel the country for a scholarship. I am not caught up in the hype, I would love to play for a D3 D2 or D1 school NAIA or any school that thinks I can assist in their program.
