I knew what I saw at the Osbourn Park 7v7 with Evan Shorter Evan Shorter 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB/RB West Springfield | 2026 State VA and Coach confirmed. He is healthy and ready to contribute at both receiver and defensive back this fall. Shorter was all over the field this past spring and he really seems to have a nice future at defensive back. He too looked motivated like the rest of his Spartans teammate this off-season.

Personally I thought Evan Shorter Evan Shorter 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB/RB West Springfield | 2026 State VA looked the best of all the defensive backs on hand at Osbourn Park High School. He has good instincts and his footwork shows you he knows what he is doing out their. Shorter made plays on offense too and should look for a bigger role on that side of the ball in 2025. Defensively is where I can see him at the next level, he looks like an all region defensive back.
