Ramos was a standout in every session of the camp with the combination of skill and athleticism he showed as an OLB. Coming off a strong junior season with Summit (Fontana) in which he led the team with 84 total tackles, 5 sacks, and 8 TFLs. Carries a strong, physical build at 6’1″/220 with some good power and burst behind his movement. Showed his lateral range reacting to the flats in 1v1s and looked like he’ll be among the leaders at the LB position when the official testing numbers come out. Ramos’ stock is on the rise coming into an important offseason.

Ramos led Summit in tackles with 84, had five sacks and three forced fumbles this season.

He is a big outside backer who can rush the passer and drop into coverage. Ramos blows up pulling guards when defending outside runs and is a relentless blitzer. He is always in the right spots when dropping into coverage and I’m interested to see him covering a good running back group in man coverage on Sunday.
