Toia has been a staple of the top 10 overall since his freshman year and maintains his #1 spot amongst DL prospects. 6’2” 305 lbs. he projects to play the interior at the college level but his athleticism and movement skills give him the ability to play any position on the DL. Explosive out of his stance his initial quickness allows him to gain early positional leverage and penetration. Highly technical with his hand usage and placement to maintain separation from blockers and then disengage quickly. Has a good mix of speed and power move to beat blockers. 25 offers to date.

Toia jumped to the second ranked DL in the state and #14 overall after a breakout freshman season and an outstanding camp circuit. At 6’2” 305 lbs. he’s got ideal size and length for elite level on the interior defensive line. Great initial quickness and explosion out of his stance and into his first step. Violent with his hands and shows plus natural strength to shed blockers or anchor down to hold a gap. Recruitment has skyrocketed this offseason with nine D1 offers coming but he’s quickly emerging as a national recruit.
9 Offers: Miami, Oregon, Oregon State, Oklahoma, Arizona State, Texas, Utah, Arizona, San Jose State

Toia is a violent pass rusher with quick feet and good instincts. He is explosive out of his stance and even when the offensive lineman gets his hands on him, Toia is good with his hands and adapts quickly.
He has a good combination of speed and power moves. I wouldn’t be surprised if he became a double-digit offer guy before the season starts.
