Stendell was one of the most disruptive EDGE defenders in Nevada’s 3A division this season with 58 total tackles, 18 TFLs, and 5 sacks. Possesses useful length for a DE at 6’2″/215 that allows him to knock down passes at the LOS and possesses the athleticism to contain the edge. He’s still developing his skillset and hands technique as a rusher but has shown promising developmental upside. Stendell’s stayed busy on the recruiting trail taking visits to schools like UC Davis and Nevada this fall and just picked up a D-III offer from Lewis & Clark at the beginning of December.
