I got excited watching this guy’s film. The 6’4 315 RG has that nasty streak about him that you need up front. He has the quickness to get out and pull and demolishes smaller DL. If he gets to the 2nd level the LB is on his back. Prep Redzone has him as the #16 overall OL in the State and I think he has a high ceiling this Fall. He has been on campus all over the South this Spring and has participated at multiple skill combines, just waiting on a program to pull the trigger. A next level OG.

Eric Kirkpatrick is a powerful offensive tackle who dominates in the run game with his strength and drive blocking ability. He has good size and uses his hands well to control defenders. In pass protection, he shows solid technique but could work on his foot speed to handle speed rushers at the next level. Kirkpatrick has a high motor and plays with a physical edge that coaches love.

Has more flexibility and short-area quickness than usual for a player with his build; didn’t look lumbering when playing at tackle over the past couple of years. Shows a good understanding of positioning and can use his quickness to wall off opponents early in the run game. Some ability to chip and climb, or to otherwise get in space and hit a defender. Works hard to engage and sustain through the whistle.
