Top Attribute: Hand Utilization
Enzo Ferrero Enzo Ferrero 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Westfield | 2025 State NJ is a name in coaching circles that we describe as very good. Ferrero is best when using his hands. Using them, exclusively, to make grabs, they are strong as he maintains possession through swipes across his arms and down to the ground. He will also go up and “pluck” the ball out of the air and through catches that require a great deal of concentration. Ferrero also aggressively comes back to the ball to secure it as soon as possible.

The first clip on Enzo Ferrero Enzo Ferrero 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Westfield | 2025 State NJ ‘s tape might be the single-most impressive clip I have watched in a minute when you consider the context. Against a G4-caliber corner, Ferrero is pressed like crazy and the corner is stuck on him like glue. Ferrero feels his matchup’s leverage and uses it against him. He broke his stem inside, but did not create much, if any, separation. Ferrero then high points the ball by extending his hands in the face of what was draping coverage and a tight, closing window, secures the ball through the ground as the defender playing his hands to break up the pass. First and foremost, this single clip shows the high degree of concentration Ferrero possesses in the moment. The hands catcher, he is apt at snatching or plucking the ball out of the air while he keeps his legs moving constantly, aiding him to break tacklers who go in low against him. Ferrero uses those hands to attacks the ball by coming. back to it and adjusts to poorly thrown balls as well. He has speed that I would describe as “better than most.” His routes are solid, more subtle than sharp, although he runs an exceptional bender. With the ball in his hands he seems to run a corner very smoothly and at a sharp angle. Lastly, he might be the team’s kicker as well as he included a few touchbacks on his film. Ferrero appears to be vying for Ivy School interest, having visited the likes of UPenn and Brown

Although he went 54/925/11 with 2 fumble recoveries for the Blue Devils, I had not had the opportunity to yet watch film on Enzo Ferrero Enzo Ferrero 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Westfield | 2025 State NJ ; yet, after doing so I was elated about what I saw. Appearing as somewhat an unassuming receiver, Ferrero has better speed than most and the ball skills to match. I was utterly impressed by the first clip of his highlight film where we saw him line up against a press corner with several FBS offers. We see Ferrero feel the corner’s press leverage, break that way, go up high for the grab with said corner draped all over his back, absorb a hit from a second defender in the tight window, and maintain possession through the ground. That is something Ferrero is astute at: going up vertical for the grab. Moreover, he is an absolute exclusive hands catcher and abstains from using his body and demonstrates a high degree of concentration when the ball his thrown his way. Tapes shows us that he also comes back the ball and adjusts to the ball’s flight nicely. Ferrero is apt at running benders/posts. Lastly, I would describe his route running as more subtle and not necessarily sharp.
