is a talented passer who flashes a strong arm. Mobile and tough, Knowles can elude rushers with his feet, buy time and throw on the move. He has a quick release, hits receivers in stride in the short game, and flashes good rhythm and timing over the middle of the field. Knowles is also a dual-threat runner who can be a threat to go the distance with the ball in his hands.

Knowles is someone who is good on the move and keeps his eyes downfield. He’ll roll out when he needs to and find an open guy. He doesn’t have an exaggerated throwing motion and gets it out quickly. He’s learning how to get through his reads, and that comes with reps. I do think there’s potential for him to be a dual-threat QB, but ultimately feel like he’s more of a gunslinger. He’s got the arm talent and instincts to dissect defenses once his eyes catch up.
