About Elvis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say I play with patients. For example waiting for players moves and their arms. I also say I play with a strong play style to help move defenders or block them just enough for the quarterback to throw. I also like to communicate to teammates near me to make sure we are on the right track.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m not a very loud talker off the field but when I’m on the field I get more into my comfort zone expecially deeper into games and practices. I try to think positivity and confidently without being cocky.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was apart of a local team called the Lower Perk Longhorns and we made it to nationals 2 years in a row. I have received honor roll throughout middle school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have communication skills, I can help people understand assignments, and just to take in information

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have and it is when I broke a bone in my dominant hand which is my right. I had to wear a club for 3/4 of the season which made it very difficult to play right tackle, because you need that outside hand. Then toward the last game of the season in practice I dislocated my pinky causing me to not play. It was very mental battle. I gave up 1 sack for my travel team, and none for my school team.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that work players to their fullest and believe in them. I want coaches to push us to our limits no matter what excuses we try to say, and just a well ran program in which players can be developed to their fullest. One of the most important things is a well rounded education program.
