Elijah Sherbin-Fox
About Elijah
Expert Analysis
Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Sherbin-Fox is a pure football player and true utility weapon. His versatility and positional flexibility showed throughout his senior year playing at a high level at QB, WR, and OLB. He’s a gifted athlete with an excellent frame at 6’2” 210 lbs. He flashes good all around game speed being able to accelerate and change directions in the short area and also possessing the long speed to breakaway from defenders as a ball carrier. Very smooth with his movement showing good fluidity playing multiple positions. Committed to Southern Utah, he’s a high ceiling prospect at the college level that still has a ton of raw potential and upside to build on. Made a big jump in the final rankings updated to inside the top 100 players overall in the 2025 class.

may have had modest overall tackle numbers with 10 on the season, but eight of those were tackles for loss and he also added six sacks which speaks volumes about his versatile impact. Sherbin-Fox may have re-defined what it means to be a versatile weapon for Desert Edge this season. Starting the year at quarterback and later switching to wideout, he has a whopping 1,383 total yards through 11 games. Sherbin-Fox took home first-team “Defensive Utility/Flex Player” honors as well as second-team “Offensive Utility/Flex Player” honors in the same season.

has one of the quickest deliveries that I’ve ever seen. With his arm moving at lightning speed, he’s still able to put good zip behind his throws despite not having to wind up to throw them. Often coming out with a nice spiral and leading his receivers well, it’s more than his arm that can torture a defense for four quarters. Sherbin-Fox is also a real threat on the ground and at 6’2″ and 185 lbs, he’s got a nice combination of speed and strength that makes him incredibly hard to bring to the ground. Taking over the QB1 role for a Desert Edge team fresh off a 5A championship game appearance, Sherbin-Fox is a player I’m excited to follow throughout the 2024 season.
