He had a very good showing at the Elite 11 Regional and is built like a linebacker. McDaniel is smooth in all his movements and is an anticipatory thrower who can throw guys open. As a runner, he is physical and has plus speed for a quarterback.

McDaniel transferred from Dorsey in the City Section to Los Alamitos.
He is relaxed in the pocket and smooth with his delivery. McDaniel has nice touch on the deeper throws and is an anticipatory thrower who can throw guys open. He goes through his progressions and makes good decisions with the ball.
McDaniel is a physical runner when he does run the ball and is a solid athlete. He had a nice showing at the Elite 11 Regional this offseason and is taking a big step up in competition by going to Los Alamitos.
