About Eli

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Extremely physical blocker with outstanding hands and catch radius. Speed to separate and strength and body control to make tough catches in traffic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

An extremely hard worker on the field, in training and in the classroom. I push myself to get better every day. I put my team first and will do whatever it takes for us to be successful.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm a lead by example person. I'm quiet when it comes to me but vocal when I can help out a teammate to refocus, forget a mistake or push themselves for that one extra rep or last bit of effort.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played the same position last season as the only D1 player we had on our team. I feel like I have D1 talent but I didn't complain or turn it into a divisive situation. I kept my head down, worked as hard as I could and earned my reps every day. I was able to ultimately get a decent amount of playing time without complaining or creating a negative situation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college where I can make a difference on the field and that will make a difference in my life in the classroom. I'm not as concerned about the size of the school or size of the community it is in. There are benefits to any and all of the combinations there. I want to be challenged in all aspects of college and I want my effort and energy to help me make a difference in my life long term.
