Jarrell puts a nice amount of touch on his passes, throwing them to a spot away from opposing defensive backs where his receivers can make easy catches. He also has a very strong arm which he uses to his advantage to make throws down the field. Jarrell was also very productive as a ball carrier as a freshman, finishing the year with 96 carries for 499 yards and 15 touchdowns. Eli will be a player worth keeping an eye on over the next few seasons.

Eli’s season unfortunately came to an end with an opening round playoff loss last week but he should be a quarterback to keep a close eye on as he continues to develop.

Jarrell is big, strong QB entering high school already standing at 6-foot-1 and 180-pounds. He’s an athletic QB that has varsity basketball and baseball experience on his resume. A year ago he led the middle school Bobcats to the KYMSFA Division 3 state playoffs, before being eliminated by the buzzsaw that was eventual State Champion, Pikeville. If Jarrell continues on his current trajectory, he could become one of the top signal callers in 2A ball.
