About Eli

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play calm and decisive in the pocket, stay accurate when extending plays, and force defenses to account for me as both a passer and a runner.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a disciplined student-athlete who takes academics and football very seriously. My mentality is to outwork and out-love everyone around me. I’m a hardworking, driven, and self-motivated leader who holds myself and my teammates accountable. I bring consistent effort, mental toughness, and a team-first mindset every day.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, accountability, and teamwork through football and community service. As a quarterback, I lead by example through preparation, communication, and effort, and I hold myself to a high standard so teammates can rely on me. I also give back through youth football camps and community programs, learning the importance of service and being a positive role model.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is my height. I don’t fit the traditional quarterback mold, and early on I learned that nothing would be handed to me. That challenge forced me to develop grit, discipline, and a relentless work ethic. I’ve learned to focus on what I can control as I grow and develop—preparation, football IQ, leadership, and becoming a true dual-threat quarterback.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a program where I can be coached hard, learn the offense, and continue to develop as a quarterback. I want to be in a system that fits my strengths, where I can earn opportunities through preparation and competition, while also getting a strong education.
