Neumann-Goretti junior corner took home Top Five DB honors post StockUp camp. Recently ranked after providing me with tape after 10+ games with the Saints. Recieved a mid D2 grade from me, which is above standard for a DB with Rentie’s measurbles. Thankfully, I feel better about making that call after watching Rentie work against fantastic wideout competition. DB coach Dante Waugh (Rowan) made sure to tell me how impressed he was with Rentie after this event. I obliged as well.
A fluid mover, where Rentie lacks in physicality and limb-weight he makes up for in movement skills. Great weaver, Rentie showed the body control necessary to dominate the individual portion of this event. Rentie paid attention to detail, learned what he could learn, and applied it to 1v1s. A sticky DB that attaches to the hip of pass-catchers. Solid hip flipper and runner, was able to stay with most speedsters at this event. Impressed with his drive step to close in on footballs thrown within 15 yards. A disruptor that caught unknowing wideouts by surprise. Excited to boost his ranking even further in the future.
