On film, he does a great job being patient and waiting for plays to develop. There are multiple plays where the check down is available and he waits the extra half a second for a better route to develop. He has the arm strength to throw off-platform and use the far side of the field frequently.

Ma transferred to Northwood which is a better program than Woodbridge right now and will be in a balanced offense that will accentuate his strengths. He has an offer from Johns Hopkins and I expect him to get some more offers in the fall and winter.

Ma completed 57 percent of his passes for 166 yards with 15 touchdowns at Woodbridge last season.

He had a strong offseason at camps and for the OC Elite passing team. Greg Biggins of 247Sports described him as having a cannon of an arm and he showed that at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January.

Johns Hopkins is the first offer for Ma.

Ma was one of the guys multiple coaches at the event raved about. He moves very well and keeps his eyes on the secondary while being pressured. He gets his whole body into his throws and has a very high release. Ma played for OC Elite last year and his progress showed in a nice year for Woodbridge. He was one of the more accurate passers at the event and is very coachable.

Ma threw for the OC Elite passing team last offseason and had a strong junior season for Woodbridge. He completed 57 percent of his passes for 1704 yards with 15 touchdowns and just 9 interceptions.

He has a nice and high release and has a good arm. I expect him to be one of the better quarterbacks at the event.
