A new name that consistently caught my radar in the 11A state championship game was 2028 athlete Eastyn Schaefer Eastyn Schaefer 6'3" | 175 lbs | ATH Langdon | 2028 ND . He caught the eye test with his size as the 6’3 175 pounder, also led the Cardinals in touchdown receptions in the 11A state championship game. His balance as an athlete for that size on both sides of the ball was evident and he was one of the more sizable new names that we got on our radar overall at Dakota Bowl XXXIII. Long strider that I would love to see the highlight tape pop out from this season as all he has at the moment is hoops tape. I like the upside Eastyn can boost a lot over the coming years.
