If you got a chance to watch the 11A state championship game, you should see why Eastyn is high on our 2028 North Dakota board. Our new ATH3 in the class has a sound football IQ for both sides of the ball that you see right away when you roll the tape. He’s a fluid route runner with a great release for his size and he intirgues me with his hands on how well-versed they are finishing thru contact. On the other side of the ball, Eastyn shows off a hybrid safety that can get down to the box and effect the run game while also being able to be persistent in pass coverage especially covering intermeidate routes. He’s a top 15 overall prospect out of Langdon Area that shows off one of the better athletes out of there we’ve found over the last handful of years for the Cardinals.

A new name that consistently caught my radar in the 11A state championship game was 2028 athlete Eastyn Schaefer Eastyn Schaefer 6'3" | 175 lbs | ATH Langdon | 2028 State ND . He caught the eye test with his size as the 6’3 175 pounder, also led the Cardinals in touchdown receptions in the 11A state championship game. His balance as an athlete for that size on both sides of the ball was evident and he was one of the more sizable new names that we got on our radar overall at Dakota Bowl XXXIII. Long strider that I would love to see the highlight tape pop out from this season as all he has at the moment is hoops tape. I like the upside Eastyn can boost a lot over the coming years.
