Even though his Eagles fell in defeat, I thought Jointer flashed big time and did so in multiple ways. Recently signing with Miami Ohio, the Eagles safety made plays all over the field Thursday night as he did excellent work in run support against Gabriel-Georges while also showing his ball hawk skills by picking off Cherry in the second half. Jointer played a key role in helping slow down the Red Raiders offense on occasions and the Eagles would not be close in this contest without the play of this future MAC football player.
