is a fluid mover that can flip his hips and effectively cut out to the sideline from the inside with good length in the slot.
He understands how to use space to maintain a throwing lane for his quarterback to get him the ball, having worked off strong outside receivers in his high school career.
As he continues to get comfortable within the offense he has been quickly learning after transferring late in the offseason, he should be given more opportunities over the middle of the field. He does let passes get into his body instead of plucking it in with his hands, which improving upon could help him get upfield quicker, especially on quick slants to take advantage of his acceleration, in which he has shown as a kick returner.
He has a strong baseline group of tools to be an effective slot receiver at the next level and will be intriguing to watch as he continues to ease in to the Brentwood Academy offense.

Explosive and dynamic after the catch are the two main things that stood out about Baskin and his work Friday night versus the Bruins. This junior wideout might have been the most athletic guy on the field alongside other top level athletes. Baskin is fast with the ability to separate after the catch. His speed is his best trait but he showed the ability to make tough receptions as well as in the 1st Baskin hauled in a touchdown reception with Brentwood defenders all over him. The Eagles pass catcher also showed his upside on special teams as a return guy with several breakaway runs.
