is one of the most physically imposing uncommitted linemen in the 2024 class. A versatile athlete, Dylan has excelled on both sides of the ball, playing offensive tackle and defensive line for the Cherokee. However, his potential as an offensive lineman stands out, and that may ultimately be his ticket to success at the next level.
As an offensive lineman, Dylan displays a remarkable get-off for a player of his size. He’s a mauler in the run game, consistently using his strength, leverage, and great length to create lanes for his running backs. His ability to extend his arms and control defenders at the point of attack makes him dominant in the trenches. His ability to climb to the second level and locate linebackers sets him apart, showcasing his mobility and awareness. In pass protection, Dylan works effectively in tandem, showing he can anchor against power rushers while also reacting well to quicker players on the edge.
On the defensive side, Dylan’s massive frame makes it nearly impossible for teams to run up the middle. He’s a space-eater who consistently draws double teams, but he also flashes the ability to penetrate and make tackles for loss using his strength and hand placement. While he has potential on the defensive line, his skill set and the demand for quality interior offensive linemen suggest that his future lies on the offensive side of the ball.
Projected as a guard at the next level, Dylan has the tools to develop into an elite run blocker and a reliable pass protector. He recently earned a Division II offer from Lock Haven, but with his combination of size, mobility, and physicality, expect more programs to take notice as recruiting ramps up.

, a big, powerful offensive lineman. Grau possesses a bit of a nasty streak, particularly when uncovered in pass protection, where we see him load up, de-cleat, and destroy pass rushers engaged with his teammate – doing a bit more than what coaches would call “helping.” Due to his broad size, he does a nice job walling off spin moves and cutting off inside gap penetration. The root of this ability comes from his base, which remains shoulder-width and often near-parallel. Grau consistently gets hands on his matchup, which allows him to fling-and-sling opponents all over the field, only for him to painstakingly land on them to pin them to the turf. Two things I hope to see more from of Grau as he enters his senior year are, first, clips of him in pass protection and; second, work to shorten his strides. By taking short, choppy steps he will be able to get more consistent drive and momentum when drive blocking.
