Embry thrives off his ability to see the field, whether he’s breaking off huge runs, looking downfield to pass, or lined up on defense, he knows how to position himself to make big plays. Embry is really quick on his feet and can completely flip the field with his rushing abilities- he’s really fast, has some elusive moves, and can wear down defenses throughout games. As a passer, Embry is really smart in his decision-making- he can do a lot under pressure, makes the correct reads, and can move the chains. Defensively, Embry makes a lot of key tackles in the open field- it’s impressive to watch. Embry has been insanely productive the last few years and had a terrific season last fall- ending the year with 41/61 passing attempts for 543 yards and 4 passing touchdowns, 115 carries for 1516 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns, and 31 total tackles (12 solo, 3 for loss) on defense. Embry is explosive with the ball in his hands, plays with a ton of speed, and can consistently gain great yardage and move the chains every single carry. Embry is quick on his feet and can be elusive, especially in the open field- he does a great job making defenders miss and has the athleticism to outrun entire defenses once he’s past them. So far this season Embry has been the driving force of Locust Fork’s offensive production, on just 98 carries he’s recorded 1364 yards and 18 touchdowns in only 4 games. Be sure to keep track of him throughout the rest of the year, he’s having a heck of a senior season and is bound to keep making plays!
