A 2028 wide receiver/tight end that I am surprised does not have his firrst offer yet is Elkhorn North’s Drew Meyer Drew Meyer 6'4" | 210 lbs | WR Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE . Not just because he’s highly ranked, but because his seperation ability for his size downfield is surely impressive to watch at 6’4 215 pounds as his long striding ability can really hurt a smaller corner due to his fluidity on his routes. Drew can also make the high traffic catches look eaiser than they should be as pass-catcher that just needs to utility that frame to box out the defensive back for leverage on the ball. Drew also impresses me most on stop and go routes, as the sudden burst he accumulates has shown to be a problem for cornerbacks to recalcuate. Surefirre Division 1 grade still waiting for that first offer, but has all over on visits and projects as a tight end at the next-level.

Elkhorn North’s Drew Meyer Drew Meyer 6'4" | 210 lbs | WR Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE earned the highest ranking for a newcomer in the latest update after a stellar sophomore season. In his first full season as a starter, Drew ended the year as the Wolves’ receiving yards leader with 644 yards and eight touchdowns on 35 receptions. Drew is a big-bodied receiver who immediately stands out with next level measuarbles at 6’4″ and 210 pounds, along with top-tier athleticism. Drew’s bigger frame makes him tough to press at the line of scrimmage, and he knows how to be physical right back, showing he can box out defenders at the catch point or throw down a block in the run game. Explosive off the snap— Drew can quickly get vertical and has the speed to take the top off the defense. I was also impressed with his versatility as a route runner, with many players of his size and speed relying on being downfield jump-ball threats (which he can do no problem), but Drew showed he can work the short and intermediate routes as well as the middle of the field. He’s very reliable at the catch point, showing he can elevate to reel in the ball at its high point or make a tough catch while battling through contact. Coming from a school producing a ton of stars recently, Drew looks primed to be the next one up!
