Drew Aagesen
About Drew
Expert Analysis
Tyler Graham | Prep Redzone Scout
Drew moved exactly how I expected, and appears to be morphing his body into the ideal frame to translate at the next level. He has some visits coming up, and I would expect him to start racking up the offers this spring.
-Great side to side mobility, agility and flexibility
-Well balanced, great technical skills
-Tremendous strength, including a devastating punch and superb use of hands

It was nice to see Drew compete again. He’s been at all the camps I’ve been to in the past few months, and others I didn’t have the opportunity to attend. He’s been everywhere, and schools are beginning to take notice.
If you haven’t watched Drew yet, let me give another quick rundown. He’s an OL/DL prospect with legit 6’4″ 270 size, alongside above-average athleticism. That athleticism shows up, particularly when playing OT. Drew’s feet are quick, and he’s very quickly developing his punch, anchor, and all-around IQ. Defensively, there are moments of great getoff, and again, developing IQ.
Most people I’ve talked to see Drew as an offensive lineman at the next level. I lean that way, too. Though he absolutely has the frame to play just about anywhere on the defensive line. No matter what position he ends up playing in college, I do think Drew will receive GLIAC attention this Spring/Summer.

Drew is one of the most intriguing new O/D line prospects in Michigan. He likely projects as an offensive lineman in college, though D-Line is still absolutely in play.
Offensively, he performed quite well at our recent Prep Redzone camp. A great showing of balance, anchor, and bend on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, he showcases similar bend & agility. If I remember correctly, Drew is still relatively new to football. Considering the way Drew competes right now, it’s safe to say that he’s barely scratched the surface regarding his high school upside. He moves incredibly well for his size, attends a phenomenal program that knows how to develop linemen, and he’s already turning heads at camps. It’s hard to imagine GLAIC programs not showing interest in Drew.

Aagesen went both ways on the day playing Defensive Tackle, Defensive End, and Offensive Tackle. I think Aagesen easily projects to the offensive side of the ball at the college level. He is legitimately 6’5 and carries his 270 pounds well. He will easily be able to add good weight and bulk up to 300 pounds on a college strength and training program. Drew has good feet and he uses his length well. He’s patient in his pass set, has good timing, and has good hands. With his length and athleticism, he was able to take away the opposing speed rush. He used his hands well to counter. Really like Aagesen’s upside. He’s already getting D1 interest, I would be somewhat surprised if he didn’t land some FBS and possibly P4 offers with a strong camp season.
