Drelyn Tubbs Drelyn Tubbs 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL Youngstown East | 2027 State OH is a starting defensive lineman for East High School.  Tubbs has good first-step quickness, occupies multiple blockers and can be a force against the run.  Tubbs is effective at shedding blocks and reaching the backfield, taking good angles to ballcarriers.

Tubbs has a great frame and carries his 270 pounds well. Tubbs projects to the next level as a nose tackle. He plays with good pad level and has the lower body strength to consistently stand-up opposing blockers off the snap. He does a good job of 2 gapping and eating space in the run game. His eyes are always up and he’s reading and reacting to the offense. Tubbs has a chance to really continue to develop with more violent and heavy hands.

Has played both DE and DT. Good first step, good instincts, flows to ball and has solid anchor strength. Think he adds bulk and becomes a nose tackle in a 3-4. Flows to the ball and wraps up. High academic prospect.
