Hedrington chipped in on defense last season, but much of his work was done on the offensive line. When we pop on his junior highlight video, it reveals a powerful blocker that plays through the whistle and serves up plenty of pancakes. Hedrington’s low pad level allows him to get leverage on opponents and put them on their heels from the snap. A producer in space, Hedrington can pick off multiple defenders on multiple levels on stretch running plays, and he’s a beast on kick-out blocks. While there’s not a lot of pass-pro clips on his film, he looks sound in them with smooth footwork and active hands.
