2026 Mingo Central ATH Donavon Valdelamar Donavon Valdelamar 5'8" | 135 lbs | ATH Mingo Central | 2026 WV is having a very good senior season for the Miners at defensive back and should garner college interest. Size may limit D2 programs from extending him an offer, but Valdelamar would be a great value addition to D3 colleges or as a D2 walk-on. He’s totaled 54 tackles and 3 interceptions so far this season and has helped the Miners to an undefeated start. Valdelamar is a fluid mover at corner and can stick to receivers easily while being able to flip his hips and change direction seamlessly. Even as a smaller athlete, he also attacks the ball well in the air and is a fearless player in 1-on-1 coverage.
