About Dominic

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a down hill player on both sides of the football. I am aggressive and patient.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the field I submit myself to prayer and meditation rooted in my faith. This gives me the peace of mind to prepare mentally, spiritually and physically for practices and games. Because of how I prepare I am filled with confidence in myself and my brothers on game day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am the vice president of our class and been involved with student government for the past three years. I have received citizenship awards the last three years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a Varsity team captain since my sophomore year and was voted the overall senior captain for the 2025 season. Football has allowed me to continuously improve my leadership skills to be inclusive, collaborative, and productive. I have a firm belief that I have the ability to impact the game at many levels, but it is only through teamwork will we accomplish our goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

in my sophomore year I suffered an injury that sidelined me for a few games. In that time I leaned on my faith, family, and teammates to stay mentally tough battling my way back to have the best season I have had in football my jr year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a family style program that embraces and develops its players to compete at a very high level. A program that is not just viewing me as a number but a true member of the family with coaches who care.

Johnson enters into our watch list rankings after coming off a stellar senior season for the Phantoms. He is one of the top two-way players across the section, and showed he can make a impact on either side of the ball this year. Johnson is a downhill and physical runner with the ball in his hands and is tough to take down in one on one situations, especially near the line of scrimmage as he does a good job at running behind his pads and falling forward with good leg drive through contact. He is also a natural pass catcher that can snatch the ball out of the air with some tracking abilities/contested catch skills as well.
