A freshman contributing across all 3 phases of the game for Bel Air, DJ is player on the rise. He plays some RB, while also being an impact player in the return game, but makes him home at CB.
While only 5’7″ right now, DJ does have nice length and a frame that makes him look the part even at that height. A physical player on D as well, DJ plays bigger than his size and will throw his body into a tackle. He’s got twitchy, fluid hips and quick feet that help him make plays in every facet of the game. Specifically, allows him to hold up in tight man coverage. Staying on the receivers hip, able to change direction and run the route. DJ will then use his length to get his hands in the way of the pass for PBUs. Look for DJ to continue to impress over the years and be a standout player for Bel Air going forward.
