Diontaye has been getting better and better each week, showing coaches why they should want him on their roster at the next level. Moorman is an athletic playmaker who makes big time plays often. During his week 6 performance, he had a 94 yard kick off return for a touchdown and also had 4 tackles, 2 passes broken up, and an interception on the defensive side of the ball.

Diontaye has been a top defensive back in the entire state, playing very well for Archbishop-Murphy this season. He can line up all over the defensive backfield and play at a very high level. He is quick on the field, being able to keep up with any opposing player. Moorman is a fantastic tackler, wrapping up and having great form. During his week 4 performance he had 7 tackles and added in a touchdown during the game.

Moorman is a strong two way athlete with good top end speed and short area burst. Very fluid with his movement and change of direction, he’s able to react and close space in a hurry. Shows good awareness and sees the field well as a safety playing with good eye discipline and instincts in coverage. Using his speed he’s rangy and able to stay in phase in all three levels of the field. Plays the ball extremely well in the air flashing excellent hand-eye coordination, concentration, and ball skills at the catch point. Possesses the positional flexibility to be a playmaker in all three phases at the college level depending on need and scheme. Has taken several college visits already this spring including Colorado State and Eastern Washington and recently performed well at the National Preps Showcase in Tulalip.
