The Grafton Bearcats went winless in 2024 and are 1-19 the past two seasons but they have a very nice receiver in Dillan America Dillan America 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Grafton | 2025 State WV who shouldn’t be overlooked because of team success. The 6’3 170 receiver saw a big jump in production this season leading the Bearcats in receiving with 842 yards and 8 touchdowns on 72 catches. America is one of the more well-rounded receivers in the 2025 class and is a quality player in all facets of the position. He has good size and speed on deep balls but can also go up and snag tough contested catches. America can create separation on intermediate routes and can make plays after the catch as well. He’s a versatile receiver who’s ahead of schedule compared to a lot of receivers in the state in this class from a developmental standpoint. He has the chance to jump up in our rankings after another very good season in 2024.

The Grafton Bearcats have had a tough start to their season but junior receiver Dillan America Dillan America 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Grafton | 2025 State WV has been a bright spot for them. America has caught 31 passes for 326 yards and four touchdowns in just four games. He was the size you’re looking for in a wideout at 6’2 and runs the 40 in the 4.6 range. His combination of size and speed is a tough matchup for any high school defensive back and America has the hands to go with it. From watching his first four games highlights, America also has the ability to break tackles and make plays after the catch as well. He does a nice job catching and securing the ball with his hands and not his body which aids him after the catch. Although he may be under the radar with his team struggling, America is one to watch for with still one more season to go after this one.

I also got to see 2025 Grafton WR Dillan America Dillan America 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Grafton | 2025 State WV at the GCOH Performance Exposure Camp and this fellow Bearcat made my receiver standouts list. America was the second-leading receiver for the Bearcats last season as a sophomore and tallied over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was also the second leading tackler with 70 from his safety position where he could also play at the next level. America is a long target at 6’2 160 with still plenty of room to add some weight to his frame. He has a nice combination of size and speed and does a nice job grabbing 50/50 balls. The rising junior can make tough contested catches and uses his length to his advantage. He had some good clips of the intermediate passing game and is not just a deep ball specialist. This 2025 Bearcat is another name to watch for the next two seasons.
